C Isid is an alias of Carlos Matamoros (aka Altrd Being), who is one-half of Motionen and Co-Founder/Creative Director of the deep techno label Ascetic Limited. Carlos began his electronic music journey as a VJ in Honduras and has since moved to Los Angeles, where he gained traction as a DJ, producer and record label owner. Currently he is residing in Madrid, playing gigs and exploring some of Europe’s finest techno communities. Alongside his producing and label partner, Matt Salamone (aka Secus), Carlos has released music on the duo’s own label and Lanthan.Audio. Within the realms of acid, ambient and deep techno, Carlos had made great waves and has played alongside some of hypnotic techno’s elite including Claudio PRC, Ness, Deepbass, Wata Igarashi, Jeff Derringer, Mike Parker, Kanding Ray, Edit Select, Orphx, Reggy Van Oers, Etapp Kyle, Setaoc Mass and more.
